Dear Friends and Supporters,                                                                                              May 2026

As Mother’s Day approaches, I find myself reflecting deeply on the young women and girls who have been reaching out to Freedom Village of Canada lately—and honestly, my heart has been heavy.

I took a different direction to this Mother’s Day letter than I started with at the beginning of the day. God stopped me in my tracks when the phone rang and I took the call from a young lady. She was informed today after several doctor appointments; she is unlikely to have children. Her body has been through too many abortions and rapes to be able to carry a child. She found this out because her and her husband were having difficulty and now, they know why. We are praying for them… we know God can perform miracles!

For many years, the majority of the calls we received were from young boys and their families seeking help. Today, we are seeing a very different trend. More and more of our calls are coming from young ladies—some as young as 13 years old and others well into their 20s and 30s—who are struggling deeply and searching for hope.

It is heartbreaking to witness the permanent decisions some are making during temporary seasons of pain, confusion, and vulnerability—choices that can impact

their futures in ways they never imagined. Some are now living with deep regret, emotional wounds, and consequences that cannot easily be undone.

A young woman created by God with incredible purpose and value

Yet many of them have never been told that truth.

Instead, they are being pulled in every direction by a world that often profits from their insecurity while stripping away their identity, faith, and self-worth.

This Mother’s Day, would you pray for the young women in our communities who are hurting? Pray that they would find hope before making decisions they may later regret.

And if you feel led, please consider supporting Freedom Village of Canada as we continue helping restore faith, healing, and purpose in the lives of these young women and their families. “Keep your head up” one of our late supporters would end our call every month. He said more than ever women and that means you Keara …have to “keep your head up” that means towards God and His strength!

Because every young woman deserves to know she is loved, valued, and created for a purpose!
